Robert Michaels is the personal manager for Michael Franzese, directing his publishing, media, and speaking activities. Michaels is an integral part of the Breaking Out Foundation, working with Franzese to develop strategies and programs for gambling addiction prevention, particularly among collegiate and professional athletes and youth.
Michaels spent 5 years in law enforcement with the Norfolk Police Department both in uniform and 3 years as a detective. He also served with the 229th Military Police Battalion of the Virginia Army National Guard for 6 years in the early 70's. |

In 1987 he founded Lord & Michaels Entertainment, and has provided consulting, management, marketing and / or media support for record companies, entertainers, and organizations including Deniese Williams, Mariah Carey, Temple Yard, Newsboys, DC Talk, Rebecca St. James, !HERO - The rock Opera, Prison Fellowship, True Love Waits, and many others, including NBA iron man AC Green, NFL Pro-Bowler "Big Play" Ray Buchanan, and NIFL Champions Tennessee Thundercats. Michaels is a graduate of Columbia Bible College (B.S., Biblical Education) and Wheaton College (M.A., Marketing, Interpersonal Communications). Michaels has more than 25 years experience in broadcasting and entertainment marketing, beginning in 1978 with WMHK-FM radio in Columbia SC, and has been awarded 24 gold, platinum, and multi-platinum albums for his work in the music industry.
